A grand celebration was held recently in Alamban Maha Vidyalayam in Mannar to mark the Srila Sri Arumuganavalar Day. There were procession, poojas and discourses during the ceremony. The statue of Navalar was taken on a procession with the participation of students, teachers, Hindus and others.
The event was organized by the Federation of Araneri Padasalaigal. Pradesa Secretary of Manthai West S.Ketheeswaran presided. President of the Hindu Maha Sabai S.Ramakrishnan, President of the Federation of Hindu Temples Dr. M.Kathirkamanathan and others participated.
