The Navarathri festival was held at the Colombo Sangam recently under the auspices of the Saiva Samaya Hindu Kalai Cultural Association. Gnany Sivasubramaniya Sithar presided. Principal of Saiva Mangaiyar Kalakam Aruthathy Raja Vijayan delivered an address.

Vice President of Sri Lanka Branch of the World Saiva Council Vidaikody Chelvar Sinnadurai Dhanabalaa, Social Worker Punniyaseelan and others graced the event. Students of Aranery Padasalai staged cultural programs such as playing violin, singings religious hymns etc.
