The First Historical Tamil Novel re-launched in Trincomalee

The first historical Tamil novel 'Mohanangy' authored by T.Saravanamuthu of Thirukonamalai, was re-launched in Trincomalee at the Sampanthar Hall in Trincomalee Koneswara Hindu College on Wednesday, January 31. It was held under the auspices of Koneswara Hindu College Old Boys' Association.

The re-launch of the first historical Tamil novel Mohanagy dating back to 1895, 120 years ago, has become a reality due to the untiring efforts by Tamil Scholar and reputed writer Kanagasabapathy Saravanapavan, a son of the Trincomalee soil.

Koneswara Hindu College Principal S.Pathmaseelan presided. Opposition Leader R.Sampanthan was the Chief Guest. Key note address was delivered by Professor S.Yogaerasa. S.Sathyathevan, Mayooran and others addressed.
