Hundreds of Hindu devotees participated with devotion at the holy Sivarathri festival at the sacred and historic Thiruketheeswaram on Friday, February 21 and sought blessings from Gowry Amman sametha Thirketheeswara Nathar.

Male and female devotees had holy bath at the sacred Palavy, collected the holy Palavy Theertham in sembu utensils.

They performed abishekam to the Lingam at the koil premises with the theertham and sought blessings.
