Sivarathri poojas were conducted to Vadivambigai sameda Munnainathar at the sacred Munneswaram Temple in Chilaw on February 21 with the participation of devotees who observed fast.
They were chanting the ‘Na ma si va ya’ manthra and sought blessings.
This sacred shrine is hailed as one of the Pancha Eswaramas of Sri Lanka.
