A Yagam was performed at the Temple of Saturn in Trincomalee recently to mark the transition of Saturn and to alleviate the ill effects of the Saturn’s transit.

The yagam was conducted by group of priests led by Vethgamamamany Srila Sri Ravi Chandra Kurukal, the Chief Trustee of the Saturn Temple. A number of devotees participated. Another yagam was conducted at Ratnasigha Pillaiyar temple also.
