Possession of Prabhakaran’s photos, posters; 2 Jaffna University students remanded

The two Jaffna University students alleged to have been in possession of LTTE leader Prabhakaran’s photos and pamphlets in campus premises have been remanded till April 16 by Jaffna Magistrate Jaffna Magistrate Antony Peter Paul.

Jaffna Magistrate Paul made the order when the suspects were produced before him on May May 04. The suspects are 27-year old Navaratnam Divaharan, and 25-year old Sivaraja Babilaraj. They were apprehended when a search operation was collaboratively carried out by the Army, Police and the Special Task Force in the Jaffna campus.
