Lankan Muslims in Japan meet President in Tokyo


Lankan Muslims living in Japan met with President Maithripala Sirisena and held talks. The meeting took place at the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo on Tuesday. They expressed their support to President in his efforts to deal with the recent incidents of violence in Kandy and to create an atmosphere of harmony.

President observed that the recent incidents in Kandy were instigated by a group of people with vested interests, who want to create chaos and condemned the incidents.
