Three Indian fishermen taken into custody by Navy

Fishing Trawler

Three Indian fishermen were taken into custody by the Sri Lankan Navy on Saturday allegedly for fishing in Sri Lankan territorial waters.

Their fishing trawler was also seized. The arrest was made by the Northern Naval Command, during a routine patrol in the seas North-West of Kovilan Point.
