Parliamentarians Manusha Nanayakkara and Kumara Welgama have been newly appointed to the Committee on Public Finance. Speaker of Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena made the announcement in Parliament on Tuesday, Jan 19.

The Committee of Selection has appointed them to fill the vacant positions that had arisen by the resignation of Parliamentarians Hesha Withanage and Chaminda Wijesiri respectively.
