Kathirkamam pilgrimage reaches Kallady in Batticlaoa


The 52 day Kathirkamam pilgrimage comprising 150 Murugan devotees reached Kallady recently. The pilgrimage commenced from the Selvasannidhy Kanthan temple in Jaffna on June 8. It has reached the Arayampadi temple in Kallady, Batticaloa for a stop over. They will trek 750 kilometres to reach Kataragama in time to attend a festival held at the Kataragama Murugan Devalaya on July 24.
