Grenfell Tower Bloc fire; victims, volunteers meet May

Victims of the Grenfell Tower bloc fire met Prime Minister Theresa May in Downing Street and held talks for two and a half hours explaining the plight of the victims. The meeting took place in the wake of reports that a total of 58 people are dead or missing or presumed to be dead.

Earlier hundreds of mourners stood arm in arm at a vigil and held a two-minute silence for victims of the fire. Many wept openly as candles illuminated the road outside the Latymer Christian Centre, yards from the site of the blaze.
