Tamil Nadu actor turned politician former Union Minister has crossed over from Dravidiya Munnetra Kalakam to the ruling BJP.

He made the announcement at a meeting of the BJP held under the leadership of BJP President Amit Shaw on Sunday. Earlier, he had written a letter to DMK Patriarch Dr. M.Karunanithy detailing the reason for his quitting the party.
