A procession expressing dissent over the Court verdict that allowed women of all ages entry to Sabarimala temple in Kerala was held in Kodambakkam on Sunday. The processions of devotees wound through the streets and reached the Swamy Ayyappan Temple in Mahalingapuram.
The demonstrators carried placards saying 'Save Sabarimala Temple' and 'Protect the Sanctity of Sabarimala'. They demanded that the Supreme Court's decision be reviewed. The procession was organized by Sabarimala Ayyappa Seva Samajam and several other organisations.
